Regular price $24.99

Prevent, Restore, clean, natural stone by targeting the rust – not the surface.

Twinsrux is a professional, water-based rust remover developed specifically for granite & quartzites that are prone to oxidize. Twinsrux focuses on dissolving rust and iron staining while respecting the characteristics of natural stone when used correctly.

Ideal for:

  • Quartzites & Granite. Non-calcite containing stone.

  • Orange/brown rust halos from metal furniture, planters, railings and grills

  • Rust drips from balcony railings, gates, anchors and fasteners

  • Marks from tools, ladders or construction equipment left on stone floors and pavers

  • Exterior stone stairs, façades, thresholds and granite paving exposed to water and metal

No need to dilute or mix the treated surface. Just apply it to a clean, dry surface, allow the product to dwell so it can chemically break down the rust, then rinse away thoroughly. For very deep or old staining, you can repeat the process as needed.

Coverage: 1L 100 - 150 sqft

Key Features
  1. Coverage: 1L 100 - 150 sqft
  2. Rust Remover for Quartzite & Granite & Quartz – Water-based formula engineered in Italy to dissolve rust and iron stains on marble, natural stone and granite surfaces, indoors or outdoors.
  3. Stone Safe Formula – Not a generic rust spray– Designed specifically for stone so you’re not gambling with harsh, off-label acids. Ideal for rust halos from metal furniture, planters, railings, irrigation, and tools on stone floors, steps, patios and facades.
  4. READY TO USE – NO DILUTION NEEDED – Twinsrux comes pre-mixed in a convenient liquid; simply apply to a clean, dry surface, let it dwell, then rinse thoroughly. No complicated measuring, mixing or neutralizers required when used as directed.
  5. OPTIMAL FOR HONED & ROUGH FINISHES – Excellent on honed, brushed, flamed, sandblasted or tumbled stone where rust tends to grab. Due to its acid nature, it is not recommended on polished marble and other highly polished, acid-sensitive stones; always perform a small test first.

*Always test TWINSRUX on a small, hidden area first and follow all label and SDS instructions.

How to Use

Always read the product label and safety data sheet in full before use. The steps below are a friendly summary of the manufacturer’s instructions.

  1. Preparation
  • Ensure the stone surface is clean and completely dry. Remove any loose dirt, dust or surface residues.
  • Mask off adjacent sensitive materials (metals, wood, plants, delicate coatings) if needed.
  • Wear suitable gloves and eye protection and ensure good ventilation.

2. Test Area

  • On every project, apply TWINSRUX to a small, hidden test patch of the same stone.
  • Let it dwell and rinse as described below to confirm compatibility and appearance before treating the full area.

3. Application

  • Shake the bottle gently if instructed on the label.
  • Apply TWINSRUX evenly on the rust-stained stone using a brush, sponge, or plastic squeeze bottle—enough to fully wet the stained area without excessive runoff.
  • Do not dilute; TWINSRUX is ready to use as supplied.

4. Dwell Time

  • Allow the product to react with the rust for at least 1 hour. Heavier or older staining may benefit from a slightly longer dwell time, as long as the stone remains wet with product.

5. Rinsing

  • Rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water. On exterior areas, a low-pressure hose works well; indoors, use multiple rounds of clean water and wipe up with cloths or a wet vacuum.
  • Evaluate the result once the surface is dry.

6. Repeat if Necessary

  • For very stubborn stains, repeat the application and dwell process until no further improvement is seen.

7. After-Care & Protection

  • Once rust stains are removed and the stone is completely dry again, apply a suitable penetrating sealer (for that specific stone and finish) to help reduce the return of rust staining from water and metal contact.
